Steven Spielberg (Jaws, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, E.T., The Sugarland Express, War of the Worlds) begins with an historic act of Arab terrorism, the attack on the 1972 Munich, West Germany, Olympic Games, in Munich (2005), the tale of what happens after 11 Israeli athletes are seized and murdered by Palestinians.

It’s a dark, twisted story that purports to portray an important early battle in the war between Arab barbarians and the West, which culminated in the attack on America on September 11, 2001, and decidedly does not. Read my review here.
