Interviews

One publication influenced my approach to an interview: Playboy. Growing up, I flipped through its pages, occasionally hiding the magazine underneath my pillow like many boys, and I became engrossed by the magazine’s intellectual style. During the 2000 presidential campaign, I was asked to conducted interviews with each candidate for the Philadelphia Inquirer and I’ve since interviewed dozens of artists and leaders, including John McCain, George W. Bush, Robert Benton, Vincent Bugliosi and Lasse Hallstrom.
